Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk.

"For 20 years the news has reported from time to time of crimes alleged by employees of paid defense contractors. These cases rarely seem to result in change, and the stories continue. Exciting Times Ahead for Chatham-Kent Film Group

A new Cineplex Odeon theatre is being built in North Chatham on St. Clair Street. This theatre will be a 26,000 square foot complex with seven screens and 1372 seats. The theatre will also feature digital projection and the first UltraAVX auditorium to be offered in Southwestern Ontario! Three auditoriums will be equiped with RealD 3D technology so guests can enjoy some of the many great movies scheduled to be released in 3D.

The Chatham-Kent Film Group will be moving to the new theatre in 2012!!

We know that you will find the latest audio, visual, digital and RealD 3D technology, along with the extra-wide high back rocker seats to be a welcome improvement to your film experience.

We have had many challenges and accomplishments over the past year. Our group has been faced with increased costs due to the implementation of HST, and a new theatre partner with an increased rental agreement. Even with these challenges, we were able to award the Chatham-Kent Film Group Scholarship to deserving Chatham-Kent teens who plan to study cinema at a post-secondary level.

Our group has maintained the current price structure for members and season pass holders since 2004. With the added cost burden of this past year, our 2011 rates will increase slightly. The new rates and dates for this year's screenings are listed on our About page. Our goal is to provide you with a fantastic cinematic experience!

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us by email at ckfilmgroup@gmail.com or by mail at our address listed on our About page.

We look forward to seeing you this coming season.

Without you, the theatre is dark.
