Our Apologies...

The Chatham-Kent Film Group Wishes to apologize to all the members and non-members who came to the Capitol Theatre on Monday evening, June 4th, for the screening of “The Artist”.

Due to technical difficulties, the movie did not start on time. As the delay continued for half an hour and then an hour, many people left with a coupon and a promise of seeing a movie at no charge, in the fall.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., the movie ran successfully, and those who stayed enjoyed it very much. Thanks to all of you who were there for your patience and understanding.

Monday evening was the finale of our 16th season and we are happy to say that this is the first time we have had such problems.

The committee will be meeting over the summer to decide how to best rectify the situation for all. We assure you that this matter will get top priority.

So, we hope everyone will have a safe and happy summer and we look forward to seeing you at our opening movie on Monday. October 1st at Galaxy Cinema.
