Chatham-Kent Film Group Scholarship Award 2013



To all Chatham-Kent high school students graduating this year and pursuing an education in FILM:
          

If you are applying to a post-secondary institute this year pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts or diploma in the following:
-       Film Studies
-       Cinematic Studies
-       Media Studies

You are eligible to apply for the Chatham-Kent Film Group Scholarship Award.  You could receive a $1000 scholarship to help cover your school expenses.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution (college or university) full time in the fall of the year following graduation from a high school in Chatham-Kent.  Eligible students must submit a brief essay of 500 words or less on their future aspirations in film and the accompanying application form no later than
Friday, April 19, 2013.  Applicants must also participate in an interview with Film Group staff in order to discuss their educational aspirations.  Please fill out the application form in its entirety and mail it to:

Award Recipient:
The recipient will be notified by telephone or email by the end of May.  The recipient will also be introduced at the closing of the CKFG’s film season, June 3, 2013.  The recipient will attend a CKFG lunch meeting after the college/university year ends, to share information about the program and the film classes attended.

The Chatham-Kent Film Group must receive confirmation of registration from a post-secondary institution in September 2013 before funds can be released.

February Film: Still Mine

I would like to apologize for there being no earlier post about tonight's film. I have been out of commission with that nasty flu bug for the past few weeks and was unable to get the information posted ahead of time.

Craig quickly gets on the wrong side of an overzealous government inspector. As Irene becomes increasingly ill and amidst a series of stop-work orders – Craig races to finish the house.
